Use the QuickBooks Online sandbox named by T-13 and the test account for ridgeline-operation. Confirm the connection targets test data, and record the sandbox/account identifiers without recording credentials.
Open the T-06 invoice and T-10 test payment for ridgeline-job-service-03, billed to ridgeline-customer-residential-01. Record both identifiers, the customer name, line amounts, invoice total and payment amount as the comparison baseline.
Run the product-supported invoice synchronization for that ridgeline-job-service-03 invoice. Record the sync status and locate the resulting invoice in the accounting sandbox by its actual reference.
Run or observe the supported payment synchronization for the same ridgeline-job-service-03 transaction. Record its status and locate the corresponding payment and linked invoice in the sandbox.
Compare ridgeline-customer-residential-01, invoice amounts and payment amount on both sides with the recorded baseline. Capture both records, noting missing, duplicate or mismatched data instead of assuming a successful sync.

Not tested: Housecall Pro advertises a 14-day free trial, but its terms say the service is offered to users who reside in the US or Canada, and when we signed up on September 28, 2026 the onboarding form did not accept our Spanish phone number. Lab caveat: we could not open a US QuickBooks company (US phone/billing address required), so the sync target is a QuickBooks Online Global trial company (Spain locale, EUR) rather than a US sandbox; Jobber's marketplace page did not restrict the connection. Setup: Apps > Accounting > QuickBooks Online > Connect: Jobber-side OAuth consent ('QuickBooks Online Integration wants to connect to your Jobber account', Allow Access by the owner), then Intuit sign-in and 'Conectar' consent (owner), then a 3-step wizard (import clients / products & services from QBO to Jobber, both turned off: 'no way to change this choice later'). Sync Settings defaults: clients after they appear on an invoice/payment/timesheet, products after they appear on an invoice, invoices after marked as sent, payments when collected, timesheets when approved; older items can be pushed manually. Test: Invoice #2 (job #4, $21.00, lines RIDGELINE-REPAIR-01 $20 + RIDGELINE-PART-01 $1) marked as sent, then a manual $21.00 payment (method Other, ref T13-fixture-payment) recorded. Sync Activity within about a minute: client and both products Synced; invoice Error '0% tax rate not found - Non-taxable item on invoice, but no tax code with a rate of 0% was found in QuickBooks', payment Error 'Missing invoice in QuickBooks'. Fix as instructed: in QBO Tax > Set up tax, created a 0% sales tax ('Lab tax', agency 'Lab tax agency', yearly, accrual); Retry (2) -> invoice Synced 12:06am, payment Synced right after; 0 errors, 5 synced items. Verified in QBO: Invoices list shows no. 2, customer 'Fixture residential customer 01', 9/28/26, 21.00, Paid; the invoice detail shows bill-to 101 Fictional Example Lane, email set to a lab mailbox, two lines 20.00 and 1.00 with VAT 'Lab tax (0%)', 'Paid in full', amount paid 21.00. Currency note: QBO displays EUR (company currency) for a USD Jobber invoice - the number is carried as-is without conversion; in a real US-to-US setup both sides are USD, so this is a lab artefact, not a Jobber defect. Time to first successful sync after fixing the tax code: under 2 minutes.

Lab QBO company is the shared Global es-ES/EUR edition (decision 25-09); another field service app from a separate evaluation was still connected to it, idle (no approvals or syncs) - declared confound. Connection: Add-ons > 'QuickBooks Online Integration' (Free) > Connect > wizard Connect to QuickBooks > Intuit consent (operator) > Tax Settings maps each ServiceM8 tax rate to a QBO rate (all to 'Lab tax 0%') > 'ServiceM8 is connected to QuickBooks Online!'. No plan gate shown. Invoices go to QBO only after approval: Invoicing > Awaiting Approval with a 'Sent to QBO' column (Pending Approval). On approve, ServiceM8 asks to allocate an income account to each new material before sending (set to 'Services'). Job 5A (T-08 progress invoice, $60, deposit item FIXTURE-DEPOSIT) synced: status Pending Payment with QBO icon; QBO shows invoice 5A EUR 60 against the existing 'Fixture residential customer 05' (matched by name, no duplicate customer); item created as FIXTURE-DEPOSIT. Job #6 (catalogue items 'Fixture flat-rate repair 1' and 'Fixture part 1, "example"', $21) failed twice with a dialog 'Validation Issue [object Object]' (server reply success:false, empty message); adding job/billing contacts did not help. Control job #15 with a brand-new item (Fixture sync check service, $5) synced at once and appears in QBO as invoice 15. Likely cause: items with the same names already exist in the shared QBO company (created by earlier tests in the same company) - a lab confound, but the error text gives the office nothing to act on. Currency shows as EUR in QBO because of the lab edition. Invoice dates from API-completed jobs show 9/29 (account timezone). Result pass with notes: connection and invoice sync work with approval control and income-account prompt; the unreadable validation error is a finding.
