About FieldServiceTested

FieldServiceTested is an independent lab that tests the software and services US trade businesses run on. We sign up for the same plans an owner would, load the same fictional company into every product, run the same recorded tasks, and publish what happened with our own evidence attached. Where we could not test a product, the page says so and explains why.

The first category is field service management software, and the first trade is HVAC: sixteen tasks from the first import to the invoice, the phone in the field and the real cost at one, three and eight technicians. The same method will reach the other tools and services an owner buys in the same month, from a price book to an answering service, and the trades next door to HVAC.

The site is run by Hugo Barrio García from Cádiz, Spain. Testing US software from Europe changes nothing about the plans, prices or tasks we test; it does mean we say so, and that we do not run an HVAC business ourselves. That is also why every claim here carries a label and a link to its evidence rather than asking you to take our word for it. If a result does not match what you see in the field, write to us and we will check it against the recording.

We are not a vendor, a marketplace or a lead-generation form. We may earn affiliate commissions once a vendor program accepts us, under a commercial firewall described in our editorial policy; the current list is on the affiliate disclosure page. A vendor’s terms of service can keep a product out of our tests; a vendor’s wishes cannot. Questions and corrections: hello@fieldservicetested.com.
