Pass criteria: The payment is recorded against the invoice

Open the invoice created in T-06 for ridgeline-job-service-03 and ridgeline-customer-residential-01. Record the invoice identifier, total and unpaid balance before attempting payment.
Confirm the payment integration is in test/sandbox mode for ridgeline-operation. Record that mode; if a safe test flow is unavailable, record the limitation rather than using a real card.
Using the provider's documented sandbox payment method, submit the recorded balance against the ridgeline-job-service-03 invoice, or generate its customer-facing sandbox payment link and complete that test flow. Capture the test transaction reference.
Reopen the ridgeline-job-service-03 invoice and compare the recorded payment amount and transaction reference with the sandbox result. Record the resulting invoice balance and payment state.
Capture the payment record and its link to the ridgeline-customer-residential-01 invoice; retain both references for T-13. If only a link was created and no payment recorded, show that state explicitly.

From Job #13 on the phone, Priya completed the visit with 'Close job and invoice now': invoice #4 'For Services Rendered', one line 'Service call' 1 x $11.00, tax $0, total and balance $11.00, salesperson Priya Fixture, created from job #13. Test mode: no card or test-mode flow was available. Jobber Payments is not set up in the trial account, the invoice shows 'Client hub payments: OFF - Clients can't pay invoices online. Contact your account admin to turn on client hub payments in account settings', and Collect Payment offers only Cash, Check and Other Payment Record (no card entry, no Tap to Pay, no payment link). No real card was used. Recorded $11.00 Cash dated Oct 05, 2026 against invoice 4 ('Payment Recorded'); the office web list then showed invoice #4 Paid, total $11.00, balance $0.00. Result partial: the payment is recorded against the invoice, but only as a manual record; a test-mode card payment or payment link could not be exercised without activating Jobber Payments.

On Job #16 (after T-09), Priya opened Add Payment on the phone. Test mode: no payment gateway is active in the trial, so there is no card processing, no Tap to Pay and no test-mode flow; the app only records a payment manually (method Card or Cash, with an optional photo of a receipt). No real card was used. Recorded $11.00 'Card' by Priya; the job moved to Completed and the invoice to PAID, with the signature attached. Findings: the phone shows amounts in € (device locale) and the invoice template is Australian (ABN, BSB fields) although the account region is English (United States). Result partial: the payment is recorded against the invoice, but only as a manual record; a sandbox card payment or payment link could not be exercised without activating a gateway.
